job summary

Be Bold for Change is seeking a Partnership Development Board Member (Commercial and Large Scale National/Global) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing partnership strategies to support our mission of accelerating gender parity for women and girls. This is a working board position, and the successful candidate will need to roll up their sleeves and be committed to attending monthly board meetings

key responsibilites

  • Develop and implement partnership strategies to support our mission of accelerating gender parity for women and girls, specifically focused on commercial and large scale national/global partnerships

  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit partnerships with corporations, foundations, governments, and other organizations to expand the reach and impact of our organization

  • Develop and manage relationships with partners and ensure effective collaboration and communication

  • Work closely with other board members and the Executive Director to ensure messaging and branding is aligned with the organization's mission and goals

  • Help build the organization's brand and reputation by leveraging partnerships and other strategic initiatives

  • Attend monthly board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes

  • Help recruit and onboard new board members and volunteers

  • Assist in other areas of the organization as needed

qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or related field

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership strategies with commercial and large scale national/global partners

  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making

  • Passionate about advancing gender parity for women and girls

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
