Be Bold for Change is seeking a highly experienced and successful nonprofit fundraising strategist and board member to join our team. This is an unpaid volunteer position that can be conducted remotely from anywhere. The successful candidate will need to roll up their sleeves and be committed to attending monthly board meetings and meeting ambitious fundraising targets.

key responsibilites

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with Be Bold for Change's mission and goals

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundation partners

  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns

  • Oversee donor stewardship and recognition programs

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and other board members to ensure the organization is financially stable and meeting its fundraising goals

  • Attend monthly board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes

  • Help recruit and onboard new board members and volunteers

  • Assist in other areas of the organization as needed


  • 10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development, with a proven track record of success

  • Strong leadership skills and experience serving on nonprofit boards

  • Ability to develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies that align with organizational goals

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Passionate about advancing gender parity for women and girls

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
